Child Abuse and Neglect is a serious problem. Its prevention, identification, and treatment require the involvement of everyone in our community.

Child Abuse is the physical or mental injury of a child by a parent, caregiver or family member; or sexual abuse of a child whether physical injuries are sustained or not.

Child Neglect is the failure to give proper care and attention to a child, thereby placing the child’s health and welfare in jeopardy.

Thank you for looking out for our children.
