Child Abuse and Neglect is a serious problem. Its prevention, identification, and

family member; or sexual abuse of a child whether physical injuries are sustained
or not.
Child Neglect is the failure to give proper care and attention to a child, thereby
placing the child’s health and welfare in jeopardy.
